Why Responsible AI in Healthcare?
Artificial intelligence is reshaping every layer of healthcare but without deliberate guardrails, its benefits can deepen existing inequities. The World Health Organization South‑East Asia Regional Office (WHO SEARO) and the Koita Centre for Digital Health at Ashoka University (KCDH‑A) are convening a year‑long learning journey to unpack the technical, ethical, regulatory, and societal dimensions of responsible AI. Each monthly session brings together global scientists, clinicians, policymakers, technologists, and community voices to chart a path toward safe, equitable, and sustainable AI adoption across South‑East Asia and beyond.
